Good morning, @kylandcruisers-g.
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the QuickBooks Community for support. I hope you're enjoying the day so far.
To clarify, are you wanting to upload transactions from prior years to QuickBooks? If so, QuickBooks Online downloads up to the last 90 days of transactions. However, you can manually import data beyond the time limit. Download the bank statement from your bank using the following supported formats or file types:
I've included some steps below to import your file to QuickBooks Online below.
For additional information about this process, check out Manually upload transactions to QuickBooks Online.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I'm always around to lend a hand. Take care!
Which types of historical transactions do you need to import? only bank transactions or else?
Only bank transactions
well I have the same question but for the desktop PRO 2021, how to manually enter few months of bank statements which I have only paper form for? I find it crazy universe here with all this different versions restricting basic things so need help.
Utilize MT Online as a workaround. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed.

Thanks for sharing your sentiments with us, kazo.
I'm here to show you how to manually download more than 90 days old transactions on QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
Since you only have paper for for your bank statement, you'll want to consider the suggestion of Fiat Lux - Asia. If the statements are in PDF form' you'll want to use a converter to help you convert them into a file that QuickBooks accepts.
While we're unable to provide a specific third-party application, you might also want to visit our QuickBooks Desktop Marketplace to look for one that suits your business needs.
More details about downloading bank feed transactions in QBDT can be found in this article: Download Bank Feed transactions in QuickBooks Desktop.

Be sure to get back to me if you have follow-up questions about managing bank transactions. Always at your service. Have a good day!
Thank you for the response but it doesn't answer my question. I have asked how to do it MANUALLY and for version DESKTOP PRO as other recommended solutions are either for online or premier or accountant and I don't have accountant menu. Frankly I am disappointed that coming back to QuickBooks from version 2008 that universal - standard import-export functions for common files - CSV, PDF or XLSX are not included in 2021 $400+ product. I have to enter in only few statements I have in paper form with not too many transactions, there must be a way to just type it in. Please advise how. Thank you very much.

Frankly I am disappointed that coming back to QuickBooks from version 2008 that universal - standard import-export functions for common files - CSV, PDF or XLSX are not included (or limited) in 2021 $400+ product. I am familiar with QBO files no issue there but I have to enter in only few statements I have only in the paper form with not too many transactions and only one time so I find buying fancy converters for that small of the job waste, there must be a way to just type it in. Please advise how. Thank you very much.
