Cannot enter Massachusetts UI rates for 2024, the system only allows entries for 2023.  Anyone have a solution to this?

Let me provide clarification about entering new State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) rates for 2024.

 

Once you have your updated SUI rate, you'll need to manually update it in QuickBooks Online (QBO). You can refer to this article for guidance in updating it: Update your State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) rate.

 

Additionally, you'll need to wait for the new year to roll in before you can update it. Once the new year begins and you still can't update it, I recommend sending your payroll tax notice to us. Currently, the parameters for the SUI rate in QBO are configured for 2023, as QBO adapts to the current year's rate in accordance with state regulations. You can be assured that the program will comply with changes in the UI rate once it becomes effective, usually on the first day of the calendar year or covered period. During that time, you can manually adjust the rate.

I'm confused.  I usually enter the new values manually myself into QBOP.

Are you suggesting that Intuit now updates the rates for us?

Please clarify.
