e-mailing transaction reports securely

Hello,  I would like to be able to send reports to employees with client names in encrypted e-mail from Quickbooks.  I wish Quickbooks required that employees log in to view.  Otherwise, I need to save and send in secure e-mail.  takes me a while.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks!

Providing the best experience with the product is what we aim for, knixon.

The option to send reports to employees with client names in encrypted e-mail is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). If your preference is sending coded files to clients, we'll need to do it outside the program like saving and sending in a secure e-mail as you normally do.

We can also use a third-party application to encrypt them where we have a lot of it on our website that you can check. Just find the apps that are compatible with QuickBooks at this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/app/apps/home/. We can also do it in QBO by following the steps below:

  1. Go to Apps on the left side menu.
  2. Search for the app in the Find apps to streamline your work field.
  3. Look for the app that supports the Batch Invoicing feature.

Any questions about integrating the app into your Online account are best handled by the third-party app provider. For more tips and other resources, you may visit our page in managing your business in QuickBooks: QBO Self-help articles.

I'll be right here to continue helping if you have any other concerns or questions about QuickBooks. Assistance is just a post away. You have a good one.
