Buy nowIt has been 1 day and I have not been able to receive a response or talk to anyone from Quickbooks. I processed payroll on July 28, Thursday morning, and all of my employees got their paychecks deposited into their bank account the morning of Friday, July 29, except one. I need to get in someone to figure out what is going on. Quickbooks did withdraw the funds, but did not deposit the check into my employee's account.

I am having the exact same issue. Payroll went out January 26 2024, one employee has yet to receive their pay, even though his direct deposit information has been verified and is correct. of course, the money is missing from my business bank account. I have tried and tried to contact someone at Quickbooks for days now. And every time it's like the Quickbooks person drops out of the conversation. I hope that my money is returned, or that my employee gets it soon.
I understand the importance of getting details about the direct deposit that went through from your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, @fitztire. Getting paid on time is vital for your employees.
The way QuickBooks sends your direct deposit to pay your employees depends on the lead time you are at. For QBO, you can take advantage of Same-day or Next-day direct deposit. In some instances, you might be on a 5-day direct deposit lead time.
It also depends on your bank on how fast they approve or verify the deposit on their end and be available to your employee’s account. Also, direct deposits are processed only on banking days. Moreover, take note of when to submit or approve payroll and refer to the snapshot below for direct deposit submission for a Wednesday and Friday payday:
I also added this article for your reference: When to send your direct deposit payroll.
Moreover, if you have already checked the deposit from your financial institution and exceeded your lead time. I recommend re-contacting our Technical Support Team. I understand that you have already reached out to them, however, it’s the best way to contact them to initiate a further investigation and determine the leading cause of the problem.
Additionally, QuickBooks offers a variety of payroll reports. This will give you a more thorough picture of the gross pay, deductions, and tax data for your employee over a specific time frame.
