Re entering by hand last years payroll information and paid taxes

Hello my computer crashed , lost info, no back up, need to renter payroll info by hand, taxes payments made etc. How To renter taxes paid?

Hi there, @ACoop.

 

You can re-enter your historical payroll and paid taxes in QuickBooks Desktop by accessing the Payroll setup interview. I'll show you the steps on how to do it.

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) company file.
  2. Go to the Employees menu.
  3. Select Payroll Setup.
  4. Then, you’ll be directed to the Payroll setup wizard.
  5. Follow the on-screen instruction and save the transaction once done.
