Finally solved. The reason I did not receive email confirmation is because QBO sent confirmation to a former employee's email address. QBO customer service forwarded the confirmation email to me so I now have confirmation of IRS acceptance of our 1099-NEC forms.
Secondly, QBO customer service steered me to a totally separate website called "Intuit 1099 E-File Service"…. iop.intuit.com/1099/login. Use your regular QBO login information at the 1099 E-File Service link and you will find everything you need regarding the e-filing of your 1099s. Not sure why this isn't built right into the Vendor/Expenditure section of QBO like W-2/W-3 forms are built into Payroll/Employees.
This did not answer my question. The "Taxes" tab that leads to "Payroll Tax" and "View Archived Forms" does not have anything to do with contractors and 1099s. It deals strictly with employees, W-2s, 941s, etc. Disappointed that Quickbooks does not have a similar trail for 1099s. In fact the only confirmation of a successful 1099/1096 efile is a simple email message back from Quickbooks indicating that the filing has been accepted by the IRS...this is what we relied on last year. This year, I submitted for 1099 efiling through Quickbooks on January 1 (also did the same for one other small company also on January 1). I have not received anything back from Quickbooks for this company, and a couple of contractors have told me they have not received their 1099s. On the other hand, 1099 efiling for the other small company worked, and I received an email from Quickbooks confirming acceptance by the IRS on January 7. I should also point out that I spoke with Quickbooks customer support on January 7 about not receiving any confirmations regarding our 1099 efiling status; I was told that it looked like I had indeed submitted for 1099 efiling, but no confirmation 17 days later, and no 1099s delivered to contractors. So what do I do now, submit again and possibly end up double filing?
Same situation. e-Filed 1099-NECs and need to check the filing status, and verify contact information used after some contractors say they have not receive their 1099s.

Thank you! That URL for Intuit 1099 E-File Service was what I was looking for, and yes, it should be integrated into QBO.
I processed my 1099's through Quickbooks online. When I pull up the status under taxes 1099s all it says is "SENT". I was actually a contractor and should have been emailed the 1099 and I havent received it either. I have not received an email confirmation from Quickbooks. I processed them just yesterday 1/8/24.
