I am running manual payroll on QuickBooks 2015, and I need to edit my limit for state SUI. I have read that it is part of tax tables and is not editable by the user. But since I do not subscribe to payroll (and QB has discontinued payroll for QB 2015), I cannot get a tax table, so cannot update this limit.
Is there a hack I can use to edit the limit?
Thanks in advance!

Since you don't subscribe and QB does not calculate your taxes, it does not matter.

I think you are right! I was thinking that QB was calculating the percentage amounts on SUI for me, but I realize that I have been doing it myself!
Hello there, @Lwood.
Thanks for getting back to us. Allow me to address your concern, so let me get this straightened out.
QuickBooks Online will stop calculating your taxes once you cancelled your payroll subscription. Please know that you're always welcome to re-activate your payroll service anytime. To do this, let me walk you through the steps for your reference:
If you need further assistance with the steps, I encourage you to contact our QuickBooks Online Support Team. They have the tools to pull up your account and activate your payroll subscription.

If you stop using the "provided tax item" and make your own Payroll Item for this, as a Company Contribution, then it will also allow you to put in the rate and set the limit; it will Compute your own items and it will manage against the Limit. Example:
Everyone is subject to the FUTA item up to $42. Don't use the FUTA item; make your own.
You should be able to manually change that in the Payroll Items List (assuming your 2015 version has that).
