How do I correct a timesheet I saved. I saved it for the wrong/incorrect week?

You've come to the right place, nashamber.

Handling timesheet records in QuickBooks is my specialty, so I'd be happy to lend you a hand in correcting this.

A quick way to resolve this is to go to the Weekly Timesheet page, then find the incorrect week so you can remove the hours and apply it to the right week. Allow me to guide you through the steps on how to do this:

  1. Click the Plus (+) icon.
  2. Select Weekly Timeesheet.
  3. Make sure the correct employee is entered.
  4. From the Weekly Period drop-down menu, identify and choose the incorrect week.
  5. Select the Trash (clear) icon to remove the hours.
  6. Click Save and close.

For more information about this process, I recommend following this article: Fill in a weekly timesheet

That should do it! With these resources, I'm confident that you'll be able to correct the timesheet in no time.

How do I correct a timesheet I saved. I saved it for the wrong/incorrect week?

If I have 30 entries in the wrong time sheet week, how can I move it to the right week?  Obviously I can delete each entry but I want to globally move the whole thing to the week before.

Good to hear from you today, JLGodshdall.

I've got you covered in moving the incorrect timesheet to the right week. Let's get started.

Moving the whole entries of timesheet to the correct week isn't an option for us right now so it has to be done manually. To move your 30 entries of the incorrect sheet, you'll need to open and edit each entry.

To do that, here's how:

  1. Click Reports in the left menu.
  2. Search and look for Time Activities by Employee Detail.
  3. Double-click the entry and edit the information.
