Discontinuing your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) service would depend on where you bought your subscription from, directly from QuickBooks or a mobile app store, waiteing. I'll guide you through completing the procedure below.
When QBSE is no longer meeting the needs of your growing business, you can cancel it at any time. Before you do so, I'd recommend exporting your transactions and reports for future use. If you brought it directly from QuickBooks or Intuit, follow these steps:
- Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed in a web browser.
- Go to the Gear ⚙ icon.
- Select Billing Info, then select Cancel subscription.
If you purchase your plan through a mobile app store (on an iPhone or iPad (iOS) or Android phone or tablet), please see the Cancel your subscription bought through a mobile app store section in this article: Cancel your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription. It also includes a guide to canceling a free trial.
Additionally, if you need more advanced features to keep up with your bookkeeping, you can upgrade to QuickBooks Online or switch to the TurboTax bundle and use QuickBooks Live.
Keep in touch if you have other questions about managing your QBSE account. We in the Community are always here to assist you. Take care.
