How do I eliminate the pop up advertisements on my qb online paid version?

Hello there, jim229. I'm here to assist you with removing the pop-up advertisement on your QuickBooks screen.

The pop-up notification you're experiencing while using your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account is designed to suggest to users how to improve their experience with the product.

The option to disable them permanently is currently unavailable. However, we can remove them from your screen by clicking the or No, thanks button.

Meanwhile, you can enable your browser's pop-up blocker. It prevents advertisements from showing on your browser screen.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Lock icon beside your browser's address bar.
  2. Choose Permission for this site (Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge) or Site settings (Google Chrome).
  3. Select Pop-ups and redirects dropdown . Then, click Block.

If you're using the Safari browser, you can follow these steps:

  1. Click Safari, then Preferences.
  2. Hit Websites at the top, and then select Pop-up Windows on the sidebar.
  3. After that, choose Block.

Blocking popups from QBO just blocks a lot a functionality.  Was that pre-packaged BS an AI response, or just a clueless employee?

@MRusty  In a word, yes.

Sadly, the distinction between the two seems to be fuzzy these days. As far as I can tell, Intuit's approach these days is to have AI auto-respond with their weirdly formal scripts, and have an actual employee come along afterwards and edit the responses as actual users call them out.

You'll probably notice the post you're referring to change within a day or so, quite possibly making your question look strange.

I can't edit my comments, but they can.  How very "communist" like.
