Before diving into the process, we'll have to make sure that we've already paid any outstanding tax deposits, filed any outstanding quarterly forms, and printed the necessary payroll reports.
Please take note that once your account is canceled, you'll still have a view-only access to the data for six months after the end of the tax year in which that data was collected. After that period, the system will permanently delete all your payroll-related data.
You follow these steps in canceling your payroll subscription:
- Click the Gear icon.
- Select Account and Settings.
- Choose Billing & Subscription.
- In the Payroll section, select Cancel.
- Select Continue to cancel.
- Complete the short survey and click Confirm cancel to complete the process.
