How to Remove Employee Access to Workforce ?

We have an employee that no longer has access to the email linked to his workforce account.

I've deleted the email and replaced with the new email in QB; however he is not receiving the link to view his paystubs in the new email. I've tried contacting QB but they cannot provide a solution.

Is there a way to stop QB from sending his stubs to the old email???

How to Remove Employee Access to Workforce ?

Hi there, @Saphire605. Let's work together to ensure your employee will receive the link to view paystubs in their new email.

Your employee needs to change their email address on their Intuit Account to receive the link to view his paystubs in the updated email. Refer to change the email address, phone number, and password

If your employees are unable to access their Workforce account, they can recover their Intuit Account if they can't sign inYou can send them an invite again once they update their email information on their Intuit Account.

Here's how:

  1. Select Employees, then Manage Payroll Cloud Services.
  2. From QuickBooks Workforce, select Invite Employees.
  3. Sign in with your Intuit Account. It should be the person who owns the QuickBooks Payroll license.
  4. Select the employee's name to resend the invite.
  5. Select Send Invite.

It doesn't give me the option because he had previously signed up with the old email.

I appreciate you for returning to this thread, Saphire. Allow me to join and provide additional details to get this fixed.

Before sending a new invitation to them, make sure you send payroll data after removing the current email address and entering the new one. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Employees menu and select Employees Center.
  2. Double-click the employee's name.
  3. In the Required Info section, remove the email address.
  4. Once saved, go back to the Employees menu.
  5. Choose Send Payroll Data.
  6. In the Send/Receive Payroll Data window, click Send All.
  7. Enter your PIN. Then, OK.
  8. Follow the same steps from 1-7 when entering a new email address.

After completing the process, follow the steps provided by my colleague earlier when sending the invitation again. If it doesn't work, you can reach out Payroll Support Team via chat. By connecting with us, we can assist you in updating it. It's recommended that you and your employee are both available at the same time to complete the process.

  1. Go to this link: Chat with us.
  2. Enter your email address, name and concern.
  3. Click the Start Chat button.
