In QuickBooks Online, you can set up a new payroll item and set a default account for this item. For the account category, please consult your accountant first to make sure what's best for your business.

Dividends are not part of Payroll. Dividends are paid to Shareholders of a C Corp. Payroll is for Employees. Employees that are shareholders do not get Taxed on Dividends as if that is part of Payroll.
