I deleted an authorized user from my businesses account. But recently he let me know that he is still getting email and QB app notifications for my business. Why?

They are not on my user list. They get notifications about invoice payments. But when they click on it - nothing opens up etc. Seems like a glitch.

I deleted an authorized user from my businesses account. But recently he let me know that he is still getting email and QB app notifications for my business. Why?

Good day, @jakemlewis94.

 

It's possible that this user is still linked to your merchant account. Let's make sure to remove them from the Merchant Service Center. This way, they won't be notified about the invoice payments.  Here's how:
 

  1. Log in to your Merchant Service account
  2. Under the Account Self-Service section, select Manage User Accessmanage user access.PNG
  3. Look for the name of the user. Then, click the X button. 
  4. Check the I understand that deletion will permanently eliminate this user and terminate their access to any Intuit services associated with this account box. 
  5. Select Ok, delete this user.

Yep! That’s seems to have been the issue. When removing a user from the overall account QB should really give you the option to remove them from all account access including the Merchant side of things.
