Hi Debi,

Absolutely! You can find the shared documents by following these steps:

  1. Select the client's name from the Go to client's QuickBooks drop-down list.
  2. On the left panel, click My Accountant.
  3. Click the Shared documents tab.
  4. Find and click the document to open.

I've added a sample screenshot for your reference.

Please let me know if there's anything else you need help with QuickBooks. Have a great day!

Can we also share a document with the client, such as financial reports?  And how do we do this?  I don't see an icon on the reports to put it on the Shared documents window.  Thanks!  :)

Hi there, @TC-Acctg.

You can share a document report to your client, but you need to export it first so that it can be uploaded to Shared Documents. Let me show you how:

  1. On the left pane, go to Reports.
  2. Select the financial report you want to export.
  3. At the top of the report, select the Export icon. Then select Export to Excel or Export to PDF.
  4. Save the file where you can easily find, like your Downloads folder or your desktop.

Once done, go to the client's QuickBooks to upload the file.

  1. On the left panel, click My Accountant.
  2. Click the Shared documents tab.
  3. Select Upload.
  4. Find and click the document to open.

I've attached an article about customizing a report to show specific information you want to share with your client: Customize a report. This also includes steps to save and send custom reports.

I'm just a post away if you have any other questions. Have a great weekend ahead.
