I need to be able to access employee information to prepare a net zero check for 12/31/21. When I asked for help, the assistant told me I need to reactivate my subscription or create a new password. I have been paying a monthly fee forever so I don't understand why I don't have access. I asked to talk to a human but it's too early for anyone to be available. I need to get this done before I can file my taxes next week.
Hi there, @dfe171978.
Let me help you access your employee's information in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll.
Before we proceed, can I ask you a few questions? That way, we can identify the possible of cause the issue.
Are you the master admin of the account? If not, let's make sure that your access level will allow you to edit employees' information.
It's possible the primary admin changed your permission level. This can be the reason why you're unable to open the Employee's menu. To verify, contact them so they can update your role.
In case you're the master admin, let's perform these troubleshooting steps instead. First, open your account in a private window. This will help us isolate the issue and check if it's browser-related. Simply press the following shortcut keys:
If you're able to update your employee's information, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Alternatively, use another supported browser if the issue persists.
If you're still getting the same result, contact our Payroll Support Team. That way, they can check your account and help you with the process.
For QBO Payroll Core and Premium subscriptions, they're available from Monday to Friday (6 AM to 6 PM Pacific Time).
If you're using QuickBooks Full Service or Elite Payroll, you can contact them any time, any day.
