I need to reprint my payroll from today because it had the wrong date. It was made on 3/2/22 but the check stated 3/16/22. How do I change this?

Hi there, @deringer. I'll help you change your payroll date.

In QuickBooks Online, you can delete and recreate a paycheck to change the date if it wasn't submitted yet to Intuit. You can pull up the Paycheck List report to view all the paychecks you've created.

Here's how:

1. From your left navigation pane, select Reports.
2. Enter the Paycheck List on the search field.
3. Select a date range.
4. Put a checkmark on the paychecks you need to delete, and click Delete.
   

Once done, you can recreate the paychecks with the correct pay date. Follow these instructions:

1. From the Workers menu, select Employees.
2. Click Run payroll on the upper right, then picks an employee.
3. Enter the necessary information. Make sure to select the correct pay period.
4. Select Preview payroll.
5. Click Submit payroll then Finish payroll.

On the other hand, if they're already processed, you'll have to contact our Payroll Support team to help modify the paycheck for you. Follow these steps below to verify the status:

1. In the left navigation bar, select the Payroll menu.
2. Select Employees.
3. Select the employee name, then select Paycheck list.
4. If the status shows Processed, contact us for further assistance.
