I received notice of failure to file NYS 45 where I typically have assistance to do that. However, when i want to create myself an efile it want to that because it tells me that assistance has already done so, but it didn't, how to i get to file it?

I Received a notice of failure to file form NYS-45 for 3Q 2023.  I was told to file it myself, When I go to QB to create an e-file form it won't let me do that because it tells me that assistance has already done so, but it didn't - how to i get to file it?

I am here to help you and share some details about filing NYS-45 for 3rd quarter last year in QuickBooks Desktop.

 

It is important to note that e-filing the NYS-45 should be done a month after the quarter. Since you haven't e-filed your form after a month, you'll need to file it manually in QuickBooks Desktop.
