I used to be able to sort my unreviewed mileage from highest to lowest. Is that ability gone now, or am I just not seeing it?

I can see the importance of being able to filter your miles from highest to lowest, Jeff. I'm here to share a workaround with you.

Please know that we've made some changes/updates, and currently, the option to organize Unreviewed miles from highest to lowest is unavailable. Alternatively, you can download your trip data and sort them in Excel according to your preference. This action exports all your mileage transactions.

To proceed, please refer to the steps I've added below:

  1. Log in to your QBSE account on your regular browser.
  2. Go to the Miles menu.
  3. Click the dropdown arrow beside the Add trip option.
  4. Select Download trips.
  5. Open the download file in Excel and highlight all data.
  6. Double-click on the highlighted mileage.
  7. Pick Sort and then Custom Sort.
  8. Choose Distance from the Sort by dropdown, Values for Sort On, and Largest to Smallest on Order section.
  9. Hit OK. Then, manage your data accordingly.

Was sorting an option previously?

I know how important this feature is to you, Jeff. To clarify your question, sorting by highest to lowest mileage was a feature in previous versions of QuickBooks Self-Employed. However, recent updates have modified this functionality.

QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) doesn't currently provide the functionality to sort unreviewed miles directly. Nevertheless, you can download your mileage data and organize it in Excel. This method enables you to manage and analyze your trips effectively. Please follow the detailed steps outlined by my colleague above for guidance.

Furthermore, I'll share these valuable resources to help you maximize your use of QBSE. These resources will enhance your ability to manage your mileage efficiently, streamline your workflow, and assist you in making informed financial decisions:
