We saw that a client who uses the QuickBooks online payroll subscription was able to have QB calculate the Illinois Minimum Wage Credit.
When will this feature be available for the Quickbooks Payroll Annual Enhanced (Desktop) version? It is very time consuming to calculate for employers with a lot of minimum wage employees. If QB has the technology to include it in the online version, I would think the Accountant's version (Desktop) should have it as well.
Or am I missing something?
Thanks for the help

Thank you for the information. I will sign up for the newsletter. Hopefully next quarter the desktop version will add this calculation feature that is already included in the online version. We are aware of how to add the credits to the form once they are calculated. That step takes little to no time. The time consuming part (hours) is doing the actual calculation of the credit for an employer with 45 minimum wage employees.

Thank you for the response. However, I don't understand why the online version of QB has the capability to actually calculate the credit but the desktop version does not.
We know how to do it, but it is very time consuming. We believe with our payroll subscription, the SOFTWARE should be calculating the credit.

What is the status? QBO has had the feature for over 2 years. With paying for your payroll service, it seems ridiculous that it is not available for QB Desktop.
