Making Employee Social Security number visible

I'm here to give a couple of details about how to view an employee's Social Security Number within QuickBooks Online Payroll.

You can typically only see an employee's SSN's last four digits in your QBO Payroll account. However, we can open the Employee Details report to view the number.

Here's how:

1. Click Reports on the left panel.
2. Type Employee Details in the search box.
3. From the report, go to the TAX INFO column and check the employee's Social Security Number.

Moreover, we can also view the details if you need to update or change your SSN.

Here's how:

1. Go to Payroll, then Employees.
2. Select your employee.
3. From Personal Info, select Edit.
4. Next to the Social Security number, select View/Edit to update the info.
5. When finished, select Save.
