We have a few troubleshooting steps to get the gear icon back, carter-brown.

Let's try refreshing the page by pressing F5 on your keyboard. If you still don't have the option, then you can follow these steps:

Open an incognito or private browser. This mode won't store any history or cookies. Then, go to qbo.intuit.com and log in to your account.

Once logged in, check to see if you have the gear icon. If the option is available, let's go back to your regular browser and clear the cache. It's always a good idea to clear the cache to refresh your browser's settings.

On the other hand, try opening your QuickBooks account in a different browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari.

If the same thing happens, you can reach out to our Customer Care Team for further investigation.

Here are the steps:

  1. Click the Help icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. In the Help window, click the Contact Us button located at the bottom.
  3. Enter your question and click Let's talk.
  4. Select Start messaging or Get a callback.

You can always visit us if you have other questions. Thanks.

What is UI? Are you talking about Unemployment Insurance? Your Unemployment Insurance switched over to a new version...?

The term UI is also repeatedly used through out the Quickbooks Proadvisor Certification Training modules indicating, *Changes in the UI may not be reflected in the video.  It's confusing..
