Let me provide you with the information about processing direct deposit (DD) paychecks in QuickBooks, letitgrow.
The direct deposit scheduled to offload is exactly 5 PM Pacific Time two days before the paycheck date. If you need to make any changes to the direct deposit paycheck, we'll need to void the payment you already sent before the offload schedule. Also, deleting a direct deposit payroll depends on its paycheck date. That said, you can remove a paycheck if the payroll status is not yet processed. To delete/stop DD:
- Go to the Payroll menu on the left panel.
- Select the Employees section.
- Click the Paycheck list link under Run Payroll.
- Set the correct date in the Date Range drop-down and press the Run Report button.
- Tick the box of the paycheck you want to remove.
- Put a checkmark on the I understand that this action cannot be undone and further action is required box.
- Hit the Delete Paycheck button to confirm the action.

However, if the paycheck has been processed beyond the lead time, we can no longer stop the direct deposit process. I'd recommend contacting our Payroll Support team. They have the tools to securely access your account and assist you with the cancellation of the direct deposit.
