PA UC employer rate on Quickbooks On Line

Is anyone having trouble entering the new PA UC tax rate for the employer?

It is telling me that it cannot be larger than the rate it was last year, but indeed it is.  It is saying that it can't be above 9.9333% when it should be 10.3734%.

Also, when are you going to fix the UC tax rate for the employee.  It should be ..07% not .06%?

Any suggestions on how to fix.

Thank you for dropping by the Community, johnfteel.

The Pennsylvania (PA) State Tax Rate will be calculated automatically by QuickBooks. That said, you will need to wait for the latest updates from QuickBooks and your state tax agency to adjust your new SUI rate.

Once it's already updated, you can follow the steps in this article to update your SUI rate from the payroll settings: Update your State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) rate.

However, you can contact us if you have already created paychecks with the incorrect rate or need to correct a prior quarter rate.

In addition, check out this article to learn more about a variety of payroll reports you can run to give you a closer look at your employees' total wages, deductions, and tax information in a certain period: Run payroll reports.

Keep me posted if you still have questions or concerns about managing your payroll transactions in QBO. I'll be here to lend a helping hand. Have a great day ahead!
