Payments to the IRS have not cleared bank

We file payroll through Quickbooks and I recently noticed that two months worth of payroll tax payments to the IRS have not cleared our bank account. We've yet to receive notice from the IRS but I want to get to the bottom of it before we do. How can I figure out what happened?

Hey there, @elizanndem. I'm happy to help out with your IRS Payments.

 

If you utilize our Enhanced payroll subscription, you must manually E-File the payments through QBO, these are not automatically paid unless you have one of our Full Service Payroll Subscriptions. I recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Online Support Team so that they can check it in the backend to make sure everything looks okay. I've included the steps for contacting them below:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click Help (?) at the top right.
  3. Select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.
