Payroll liabilities

I paid the quarterly unemployment and admin charges for Q1 and what the program indicated was not enough.  So now I have an overdue status in my pay liabilities.  I have tried to pay it but it wants me to submit a form and then when I submit the form it says this is a duplicate.  Not sure what to do.

Payroll liabilities

Hi, KrystalHayes.

 

Let's adjust your payroll liabilities so you can pay your overdue status amount.

  1. Go to the Employees menu, then select Payroll Taxes and Liabilities.
  2. Select Adjust Payroll Liabilities.
  3. Make sure to use the same date as the last paycheck of the affected quarter
  4. Select Company Adjustment if you want the balance to be removed from the Payroll Liability Balances Report.
  5. Select the employee.
  6. Complete the Taxes and Liabilities fields.
  7. Select Accounts Affected.
  8. Click OK.
