When the payroll subscription expired in the QB desktop 5/31/2022 in the QB I manage as a volunteer for a local not for profit I migrated the file to QBO. Something happened during the migration and entering payroll totals and now everyone's gross payroll is around 4 times the amount it should be. Since I ran all of the payroll originally in QB desktop there are no paychecks for me to edit or delete in QBO. I have spoken to several representatives who have been unable to help. Every time I speak with a representative, I'm told to submit something different. So far, I've submitted a payroll summary for the first quarter of 2022 for all employees and detailed payroll transaction reports for the payrolls 4/1/2022 - 5/31/2022 for each individual employee all from desktop. I have also submitted 1/1/2022 - 5/31/2022 year-to-date totals for each employee in the spreadsheet QB provided. I'm getting telephone calls from a representative saying he is so confused. He can't read the reports. The reports are straight from desktop. I run payroll every day at my paying job and could fix this in about 5 minutes if I could only clear out the incorrect totals. Does anyone have a work around for this?

Hello there, migKate1017.
Migrating from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to Online is a big change, and I understand there's a lot of frustration when something doesn't come over right. I'm happy to help you correct the amount for the payroll gross total.
During migration, paychecks are converted to regular checks in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Occasionally, voided checks are also imported from QBDT which would affect the payroll totals the way you describe. We’ll have to manually edit any incorrect checks in the register and delete the voided ones. Please note that you’ll have to do this one at a time.
To edit a check:
To delete the voided checks:
This reference tackles removing entries directly on the Check page or without opening them: How to void or delete a check in QuickBooks Online.
And, for help with anything else that did not import or came over differently, this reference will help you understand how QuickBooks Online interprets data from Desktop: Learn how features and data move from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
I want to ensure you're feeling fully supported while learning the new program, so I'm including links to some helpful tutorials and online resources.
Let me know how it goes after following the solution and the result. I’ll get back to help you the best that I can, @migKate1017.
