Join nowI am new to QB online. When trying to enter employee's birthdate, using the format mm/dd/yyyy, I keep getting an error message of: Enter a regular rate greater than zero, or less than 200000. This is happening with several of the employees. Ideas??
Hi there, @barbco196.
Let's perform some troubleshooting steps so you can enter your employee's birthdate without getting an error.
One of the possible reasons why you experience unusual behavior or errors in QuickBooks is that the browser you're using had a data issue. To verify, let's log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser. To do so, press this shortcut key on your keyboard:
Once logged in, go back and enter your employee's birthdate again. If this works, you need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result while using a private browser, I suggest switching to a different one.
After you've successfully entered your employee's birthdate, you can check out this video to learn how to run payroll for each employee: How to Run Payroll.

Thank you but unfortunately, that didn't work. It appears to be super glitchy. Our bookkeeper called QB's yesterday and hoping to get it resolved today. So far, very UNimpressed with QBO. Let's hope it gets better!
