1. Preview Paycheck Window - Allow to make the window larger so I can see ALL of the paycheck details in one screen. Currently, the Preview Paycheck window is a fixed size and cannot be enlarged or reduced in size. This is a HUGE but simple inconvenience that would be much appreciated.
2. WC Code - Allow to set default WC Code PER PAYROLL ITEM, instead of per employee.
1. You have more time entries than what can be viewed at one time. This is common if using TSheets since even working the same job all day but with a lunch break can produce two time entries. Best place to view all time at once is in the actual timesheet. Changes made there will show up in the paycheck preview window. If they made the preview screen large enough that you did not have to scroll then you would need a magnifying glass to read the entries. There has to be a tradeoff somewhere. Same with detailed additions, deductions. Adding possibly 3 types of covid pay along with holiday, vacation, sick and all thew deductions that go with it would equire that box being taller than your screen.
Have you tried turning your monitor 90% so that it is taller than it is wide?
2. Manual Workers' Compensation in QuickBooks Desktop (intuit.com)
You want step 3 to be part of step 2, IOW, setting up W/C for a job and then assigning that job to multiple employees through their timesheets rather than having to add the codes to each employee in turn. I cannot help you with that
I would also like to be able to resize and see detail on the paycheck preview screen. I often use as many as 10-12 lines for a paycheck and can only see the top 4 or 5 which is inconvenient when reviewing the paycheck. Most of the windows can be resized but not in payroll. Any ideas?
Hello there, @Barbara1.
Currently, QuickBooks Desktop doesn't have the option to resize the Preview Payroll. As what @john-pero mentioned above, you can either use timesheets or adjust your monitor display to 90% to make it taller than wide.
