Quickbooks full-service PAYROLL is BROKEN! And they simply don't care to fix it! FRUSTRATING!!!

I've run payroll trouble free for 4+ years, NONE of my accounts or Payroll setting have changed - however this weekend when running payroll QBO has apparently decided to FORCE my payroll transactions to be recorded in my QUICKBOOKS checking register (NOT THE ACCOUNT THAT FUNDS MY PAYROLL).

I've spent 4+ hours on the phone in the last two days with 3 different support agents and the best answer I can get it this is working as intended and my choices are to fund payroll from Quickbooks checking (WHICH I DON"T WANT TO DO)  or Let QBO make the registry entries in QuickBooks Checking (WHICH IS THE WRONG ACCOUNT) and then use Journal entries to correct the issue.

THIS IS BEYOND FRUSTRATING!!!

Hi, @RidinDirty. I’d feel the same way you do in your situation.

Yes, you're correct. This is currently working as designed. We'll pass along your feedback and experience about this new update. By doing so, we can enhance the functionality and how it handles your future payroll transactions.

Thanks for letting us know. I appreciate your patience as we work through this. Please feel free to leave a comment below if you have any further questions or concerns.

Thanks for the reply...
As for the "working as designed" positon....Can someone/anyone please try and supply a logical coherent explanation of why it would be designed to work this way?

Why in the world would QBO payroll want to do either of the following....

1) Force me to use a particular checking account to fund payroll
or
2) Force registry entries into a Chart of Accounts account that they DO NOT belong in instead of the appropriate account?

This change was made with no warning or explanation as to why?  This is NEXT LEVEL poor business from QBO!
