Sage Payroll Solutions Data Import into Quickbooks

We are currently using Sage Payroll Solutions (Encore) for our payroll processing. I am just wanting to know if we are able to import our payroll data from Encore into Quickbooks Enterprise Desktop Enhanced Payroll or if there is an easy way to integrate the two. I've reached out to Sage as well. Thanks!

Sage Payroll Solutions Data Import into Quickbooks

Hi there, @rtrujillo.

Welcome to the Community. I'd be glad to assist you in importing data from Sage into QuickBooks.

You can import data from Sage to QuickBooks using the Conversion Tool. However, there are some limitations what the tool can convert.

For payroll information, the paychecks will be converted as journal entries. I'm including an article that contains additional information about this, as well as steps for importing: Convert from Sage 50 using QuickBooks Conversion Tool

If you need to reach out for more help, our phone agents will be able to help you get to a resolution quickly. They can initiate a screen sharing session to assist you with the whole process.

Here's how you can reach them:

  1. Go to: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
  2. Choose your QuickBooks Product.
  3. Select your QuickBooks version.
  4. On the Contact Us page, click a topic.
  5. Click on the Get Phone Number button to see the support number.

That should do it. Drop me a comment below if you have any other questions about importing payroll data from Sage into QuickBooks. I'll be happy to help you out. Have a great day.

No, you can't integrate external payroll service paychecks and other payroll transactions with Desktop Enhanced Payroll because QuickBooks will not import payroll transactions.

You can import the data as regular checks or as journals, if you can get or create an IIF file, for your accounting, but the transactions will not integrate with the payroll feature in QB.
