TECHNICAL ISSUE IN QBO. YOU HAVE 2 TABS TO FILE THE CA DE9C. INSTEAD OF 1 TAB FOR CA DE9

I've got your back to help you file CA DE9, @heatherWMRS619.

In QuickBooks Online, you have the option to file either CA DE 9 or CA DE 9C. Simply proceed to the Taxes menu to process 1 tab for CA DE9.

Here's how:

  1. On the left pane, click Taxes
  2. At the top left, choose Payroll Tax
  3. Under Forms, select the Quarterly Forms link.
  4. Find and select the form you want to open.

For additional addition insights, you may also review this article to help manage quarterly forms:

TECHNICAL ISSUE IN QBO. YOU HAVE 2 TABS TO FILE THE CA DE9C. INSTEAD OF 1 TAB FOR CA DE9

THANK YOU FOR TRYING TO HELP ME.

I UNDERSTAND HOW TO FILE ALL MY QUARTERLY TAX FORMS.

MY QUESTION WAS MORE OF AN ANNOUNCEMENT TO QBO THAT THEY ARE MISSING THE CA DE9 FORM FOR 4Q21.  QBO HAS 2 CA DE9C FORMS LISTED AND DOES NOT HAVE THE CA DE9 FORM LISTED.

SEE SCREENSHOT ATTACHED FOR THE ISSUE.

Thanks for getting back to us and for the screenshot, heatherWMRS619.

I've replicated this on my account and see two different forms. Here's the screenshot for your visual guide.

Let's open these two forms on your account and check if one of the forms shows the CA DE9 details. If both forms are showing the CA DE9C information, you can perform some troubleshooting steps.

Let's start by logging in to your QuickBooks account using a private browser. Then, check those two forms again.

If you see the CA DE9 and CA DE9C, you can go back to the regular browser. Then, clear its cache and cookies to refresh the data on your company file.

Follow the steps to clear the cache for your browser.

After clearing the cache, make sure to restart your browser for changes to take effect. As an alternative, you can also use a supported, up-to-date browser.

After that, log into your QuickBooks account and check again the CA forms. If you're getting the same results, I recommend contacting our Live Support Team. They can create a case to investigate your account so you have the correct forms ready before the due date.

You can get back to me by clicking the Reply button below. Then, leave a comment if you need additional information about your CA DE9 forms. I'm always around to help you.
