Is there a way to get a report from QuickBooks that will tell you when a part was last used?
Solved! Go to Solution.
if you know the part you are interested in, one part, run a quick report from the item list, right click on the item>quick report
other wise all you can do is run the sales by item detail, and scan the report for the last sale date of each item

You can run a quick report on an item to show you the details. Here's how:
That's all there is to it! You now can see a report with the information you're needing.
I want to provide more information on items in QuickBooks Enterprise. An item is anything that your company buys, sells, or resells in the course of business, such as products, shipping and handling charges, discounts, and sales tax. It shows up as a line on an invoice or other sales forms. Here's an article on how to customize item reports.
If you have further questions, don't hesitate and ask away. Have a great day.
Great! Thank You.
Is there a report to run for last used on multiple inventory items instead of one at a time.
We need to do a thorough count on Dec 31 and we want to concentrate first on items that we use regularly
Tracking multiple inventory items is our top priority and I'm here to give the information you need, tmccarrick.
As mentioned by @Rustler, running a quick report for an item to show you the details is one of the closest alternatives that you can do. You can follow the steps provided by @Ashley H to access the report.
In addition, customizing a report to personalize and make your own style can also give the information that you want to show.
You may also want to check out the Use reports to see your sales and inventory status page to learn how to see items that you buy and sell in your inventory.
