Unscheduled Debits???

I had my state taxes scheduled for 01/30/2022 to be debited from our account. QuickBooks took it upon themselves to debit my account 12 days earlier then what was scheduled. I must not be understanding this software, is QuickBooks not a piece of software that enables you to budget and schedule payments? I have over 50 nurses that will not receive payroll checks today because it is more important for QuickBooks to reprimand their customers like children then try and help them. This is absolutely ridiculous, it is not right and it is not fair. This problem would not have occurred had the payment been debited the date is was scheduled to be debited. QuickBooks did not update our email address after our former accountant and I was told by Marie form QuickBooks customer care after giving her the ID # that the agent I spoke with prior did not leave any notes and did not update the email address. Has anyone else been duped in this way? Any feedback would be welcome and any recommendations on a different piece of software that does not take it upon themselves to debit accounts when they feel that it is necessary. This is a very sad way to treat your customers, especially front line medical professionals. Shame on you QuickBooks!!!

Unscheduled Debits???

I have just learned that I can not even change the direct deposits to checks because they have already been processed as a direct deposit. However, my nurses and CNA's have not been paid and it has not been debited from our bank account. What in the world is going on here?

Unscheduled Debits???

This isn’t the experience we want to leave to you, Seth. I’m here to make sure this unscheduled debit will be taken care of.

I know how important this matter is, especially your nurses and CNA's are expecting their salaries. Thus, I want to redirect you to the right support. This way, you’ll know why QuickBooks took a debit on your account 12 days earlier than what was scheduled.

I suggest contacting our payroll support team. Our representatives can trace and review the transaction further. Just follow the steps below to connect with us:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select the Help (?) menu.
  3. In the QuickBooks Assistant window, type in “Talk to a human.”
  4. Enter “Unscheduled debits” in the field.
  5. Click I still need a human, then press Get help from a human.
  6. Choose a way to connect with us:
    • Start a chat with a support expert.
    • Get a callback from the next available expert.

I’ve added an article about updating a user ID, email address, or password for Online Payroll: Change a user ID, email, or password. This helps you receive email notifications if there are updates about your payroll.

Don't hold back to drop a comment below if you have any other payroll questions or concerns. I’ll be here to help. Take care!
