I just noticed that an employee's earned vacation hours go to zero if you change their vacation plan. This shouldn't happen.
I can see how the benefit of being able to automatically add vacation hours after changing the plan would aid you in managing employees in QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP), @LDO. That's why I'm here to share a few details about this.
Your observation is correct about changing the vacation plan in QBOP. When you change an employee's vacation plan, their hours will become zero. The hours accrue from the old policy won't automatically be added to the new one. With this, you'll have to manually indicate the employee's earned vacation hours in the Current balance field.

Ugh. Another example of where Intuit Payroll Online was better. If someone changed plans in Intuit the vacation hours remained.
