If you need to fix something on an employee's W-2, it will depend on the payroll service you're using and if your forms have been filed.
Here's some things on W-2 forms that can't be fixed:
Since your automated taxes and forms setting was activated, and Intuit filed W-2s for you, you'll need to contact our Customer Care team to request a correction.
Intuit will fix it if necessary, and file a W-2c form with the SSA. You'll also receive a copy of your W-2c to provide your employee with, and an updated W-3 for record keeping. The agent you speak with can let you know approximately when you and your employee can expect to receive the W-2c and W-3c.

When I click the link to your Customer care Support, No where on that page is a contact us button to have a live person talk to me or answer my questions. The AI help says someone will contact me in 5 minutes. One person called but they said they couldn't help me and to go to another page. That page is the same page as you sent me to. This is frustrating. Make it easier to get help!!! Quickbooks made the error and they are impossible to get anyone live to help.

The easiest way to contact our live representatives is through your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. In this case, I recommend logging in to your account through a supported web browser. From there, you'll have access to the Contact Us button and have the option to choose between a live call representative or a live chat support.

Additionally, you have the option to print your W-2s if you want to send them as paper copies to your employees, for your records or a W-3 for your accountant. Sending these copies helps maintain clear communication and compliance with tax regulations.
