Or for checks that have been created but paid other than by printing ------ go into the checking register, find the check, open it to edit and uncheck the To Print and save
I've got helpful information about continuing to pay your payroll taxes manually in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @katibelle.
In QBO, you can opt to either turn off or enable the e-services feature to effectively manage your payroll taxes. I can see the benefit in paying payroll taxes using your state's online portal and manually recording them into QBO. You can continue doing this process by keeping the e-services turn off. However, this is applicable if e-filing and e-payment are not required by your state.
