Where do I find an old 941 form

You can view your previously filed tax forms in QuickBooks Online (QBO) through the Taxes menu. 

If you've e-filed your form 941:

1. Go to the Taxes and then the Payroll Tax section. 
2. Select the Filings tab. 
   
3. Proceed to the Resources tab and then click on Archived forms and filings for past forms. 
   

If you have manually filed your Form 941, follow these steps to archive and then view it:

To archive the form: 

1. Go to Taxes, then Payroll Tax.
2. Select the Filings tab.
   
   
3. Next to the tax form you want to save or archive, select File and click on Record filing. 
4. Choose the period, then Archive.

To view the form: 

1. Go to Taxes, then Payroll Tax.
2. Click the Filings tab.
3. Proceed to the Resources, then Archived forms and filings.
4. Select the dropdown menu to filter the form type you want to view.
5. Choose the form name, then View.

When finding the old 942 forms filed from specific dates in the QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) 2024 version, we can go to the Employee Center and access your filed forms from there.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Employees, then choose Employee Center.
2. You'll see the Employees, Transactions, and Payroll tab from the left menu within the Employee Center window. Click the Payroll tab.
3. Find the Filing History section.
4. From the Saved Filings tab, you can find your 941 forms filed.
5. Click the appropriate forms.
6. Scroll down, and in the bottom part, hit Save as PDF or Print for your records.
