Why is there no accountability at Intuit? I want to be a programmer there. You just say "we're working on it," don't do anything for months, and then close the case

Haven't been able to sync my bank feed for 4 months. Have had 6 different cases because they keep closing them even though nothing's been fixed. Now 3 new bank accounts have randomly been created in my Chart of Accounts. Nobody will do anything (other than say they're making notes and escalating it) or take any responsibility for getting this fixed.

I may haven't experienced the hurdle you have now, I'm here to sort it out, @cochise2.

I want to make sure this is taken care of, may I know the specific error you see in the Banking window and the bank name? This way, I can share the troubleshooting steps to get this resolved.

In the meantime, I can provide the possible reasons why the bank account is not syncing with QuickBooks. Feel free to check them:

  • The bank is performing system maintenance.
  • There are notifications from their website that need your attention.
  • Some banks have multiple names on our list. You might want to check and select the correct one or try all possible links.
  • The bank may not be a participating bank. You can contact the bank to request they establish a relationship with Intuit.

First, I recommend logging in to your bank's website to review any alerts that need your attention. Once signed in, perform the following steps:

  1. Review your account page for messages, notifications, or alerts.
  2. Check your bank’s website for any announcements.

Then, go back to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account to perform a manual update. Updating an account refreshes the connection between your bank and QuickBooks.

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select Update
  3. Enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials.
  4. Click Continue update.

If there are changes to your bank's website, update your bank information in QBO as well to match the account's details.

  1. Go to the Banking menu and then select your bank tile.
  2. Click the Edit (Pencil) icon.
  3. Choose Edit sign-in info
  4. Update your details.

On the other hand, you can use the Audit log to see who added the there bank accounts to your Chart of Accounts.

Additionally, bank errors often block QuickBooks from downloading new transactions. Here's how fixing works in QuickBooks Online online banking connections.

Once your bank transactions are downloaded into QBO, you can then categorize and match them to your existing entries.

If you have any other follow-up questions about the online banking connection. Please let me know by adding a comment below. I'm always here to help. Keep safe.

@cochise2

Utilize the trial version of MT Online to isolate the issue. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed. If the same error persists, there is an ongoing problem at your bank or connection.
