I have the same issue with 3 different companies.
Hi there, rmcclure.
I can provide a few reasons why employees won't get their direct deposit on time. This happens when:
If your scenario falls on the first two reasons, then the funds will be rejected and returned to the employer's account. It will take 2-3 business days after the pay date. If the employee still did not receive the funds by 5 PM after the settlement date, please give us a call so we can do a direct deposit trace.
Here's how to contact us:

Let me know if you have other payroll questions. Take care and have a great day!
Quickbooks should be a little more transparent with this issue. It is obviously a problem on their end. I keep books for two separate companies that both use quickbooks online payroll. I ran payroll a day early this week and on our end it shows it has been processed by quickbooks, for both companies. Both bosses have checked their bank accounts and payroll has NOT been deducted from either account (different banks) and no one in either company has received payroll. I am dealing with a lot of pissed off employees that think I did something wrong and Quickbooks isn't giving any answers.
My issue is for ALL employees (about 35). I did nothing different in running payroll and received all normal confirmations, but not a single employee has received their direct deposit. Also, I can't call to speak to someone until 9:00 my time. I need to have this remedied now, not in hours. How can I get a solution now?
This is the same situation for my employees.
Hello,
I do appreciate you all for bringing this to our attention. We know how important it is to be able to pay your employees on time. Upon checking in the Community, other posters are also sharing the same experience at the moment.
We have already informed our engineers about this behavior to check it out the soonest. Please tell your employees to wait for their pays within today and check their account from time to time.
This issue is being taken cared of and we appreciate your patience while our team is working on an available fix.
As always, the Community forum is always open to help you. Take care!
Same I just called QB and was told others are having the same issue. They placed me on a call back, apparently QB Payroll was a wait time of 50 minutes.
Hello @Dustypancake and @rmcclure. I understand how frustrating this is and how important it is for our customers to pay employees on time and promptly. Right now our team is aware of this issue with direct deposits and is working on getting this resolved ASAP.
Currently, the bank/financial institution has until 5 pm to deposit the money to the employee accounts. Regardless, we're actively tracking each of our affected customer accounts to see if we can provide a more accurate time frame and get employees paid sooner.
It's very important that you DO NOT cancel payroll and create paper checks.
We'll monitor the situation closely and keep you all included in any updates as they come to us here in the Community.
Thank you for your patience while we work on this issue.
Came to work and was bombarded by employees stating their paychecks are not in their accounts today. I hope this issue gets resolved quickly. These people are hard-working and depend on their checks being in their accounts on time.
Hello everyone.
This has now been resolved and we expect all affected deposits to be processed and in your employees' accounts by the end of the day today.
In the meantime, this status page will have the latest updates and information on the status of the issue while we work through all impacted accounts: Status Page.
If you have any further questions as we progress, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'll be here to help!
