Your business miles can’t be greater than your total miles. How do i fix this?

Hello there,

Allow me to help and make sure your mileage is tracked accurately in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

The error you encounter typically appears when the business miles recorded for a vehicle exceed the total miles entered. To resolve this, you can review and correct the mileage entries to ensure accurate reporting.

Here's how:

  1.  Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Vehicle info.
  3. Choose the Vehicle.
  4. Change the Tax year.
  5. Scroll down and enter the total miles under Tax Info.
  6. Then, click on Save.
