Refund from payroll company for uncashed payroll checks

Hello!

 

Which account is the best to use when the payroll company issue a refund for a check that was never cashed by an employee?

The same for when the payroll company issues the check again minus a fee.

 

I entered the refund using the deposit option hitting the bank account and the payroll expense account, is that the correct account to use?

That looks correct to me.  That is how I would do it.
