I absolutely agree.  There is NO REASON for Intuit to upload any client payroll data to their server.  My firm does not use any of Intuit's offerings for ACH payments nor filing of quarterly or yearly payroll forms.  This is by design for my firm.  Intuit continually is trying to persuade me to use their online system which is worse than awful.  This is a massive breach of privacy for my clients as well as a huge lack of integrity for this software company.
