setting up SUTA in payroll

For some reason SUTA is not showing up under Company item when I do a manual payroll.

I can tell why SUTA isn't showing up under the Company item, patinvenice.

 

You need to check if the SUI (Company Paid) box is enabled on the employee's profile. This could be the reason why you aren't seeing SUTA when you run payroll.

 

Let me guide you through the steps on how to check it:

 

  1. Go to Employees, then Employee Center.
  2. Double-click the name of the employee.
  3. Select Payroll Info, then State.
  4. Mark SUI (Company Paid), then click OK.

For changes to take effect, you need to delete and re-create the paycheck. You can then see FL taxes under the Company Summary section.

Also, I've added the Update your State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) rate in case you need to update the rate.

I did all that, but see the attached pic somethings not right there and it will not me change it.
