Trying to E-File State Tax Forms - Keeps telling me I need the latest payroll update.

I updated my payroll files, completed payroll, e-paid federal taxes, and e-filed my federal forms with no problems. I immediately proceeded to e-file my state quarterly tax forms and I keep getting the following error message: To file your return yo need the latest payroll updates.

I tried updating but I already have the latest updates. I tried updating the file again and I still can't file my forms. Anyone know how to fix this. Tried the Quickbooks too hub, tired verify data. There is nothing wrong with my file.

Allow me to share some steps to get around this. I recommend updating your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) software to the latest release. This way, we'll ensure your software is equipped with the most recent fixes and security updates. Let me guide you how.

From your QBDT home screen, navigate to the Help menu.
Select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
Click the Update Now tab.
Select Get Updates to start the download.
Restart your QBDT software once the download finishes.
When prompted, accept the option to install the new release.
