WA SOC codes

I have entered all WA SOC (Occ Code) codes in the Payroll setup for each employee.  When I open the WA UI report several of the employees Occ codes do not appear, but most of the others do.  I have gone back to the Employee Payroll Setup and checked to see if the code was actually there and it was.  I tried changing the Occ code to see if it would populate on the UI report.  It did not.  I've changed the code back to the correct code for that employee.

I have downloaded the newest update for QBDT Accountant, closed all copies of QBDT, and restarted my computer.  The several employees that were not populating the Occ Code before, still are not populating the Occ Code on the WA UI report.

And I have one employee that is displaying the wrong Occ Code.  I've check the Employee Payroll Setup and it is correct there.

I hope that someone knows how to fix this.

Thanks.

WA SOC codes

I appreciate all the efforts you've taken so far to fix this, @jellis191. Let's work together to resolve the issue with some of your employees not having the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) codes in the WA UI report.

Before anything else, it's important to note that the SOC codes will only show up if the employee works in a state that requires them. Please verify each employee's work location is in Washington State.

I'd also recommend refreshing your reports to ensure you're seeing the latest information you need. You can do this by clicking the Refresh button at the top right corner of the report. I've included a screenshot below for your visual reference:

If that doesn't help, try opening a different company file to see if the report updates correctly. If the issue seems to be with your original company file, I suggest running the Verify and Rebuild data utilities. These tools can help identify and fix underlying issues. Here's how:

To verify your company file data:

  1. Go to Window then select Close All.
  2. Click File, then select Utilities.
  3. Select Verify Data. If you see:
    1. QuickBooks detected no problems with your data—your data is clean, and you don’t need to do anything else.
    2. An error message—search for it on our QuickBooks Desktop support site to find out how to fix it.
    3. Your data has lost integrity—Data damage was found in the file. Rebuild your data to fix it.

To rebuild your company file data:

  1. Go to FileUtilities, and then select Rebuild Data.
  2. QuickBooks will ask you to make a backup before it rebuilds your company file. Select OK. A backup is required before you can rebuild.
  3. Choose where you want to save your backup, then OK. Don’t replace another backup file. Enter a new name in the File name and select Save.
  4. Click OK when you get the message Rebuild has completed.
  5. Go to File, select Utilities then select Verify Data again to check for additional damage.

WA SOC codes

None of your instructions WORK to solve the problem.

I spent 20 minutes writing a detailed explanation to you, click POST and your webpage blow up !!!

Ive used QBDT for over 30 years and I can hardly believe the bugs that have been introduced into the software in the last 3 to 5 years.  What is the matter with Intuit?  You don't care about your customers anymore.

I added a new employee with last name Edwards, Occ Code populated on WA UI report.  I changed last name to Zelle-Edwards, Occ Code ceased to populate.  I have 38 employees on report.  I added A-to  the last name of 1 employee that Occ Code would not populate for reran report and it populated.  Reviewed employee list and noticed that 1 more employee at the bottom of the list , that had a Occ Code before, now was missing the Occ. Code.

I hope there's a fix for this.
