I use QBO as an accountant and two of my clients have Payroll Premium. The instructions here do not follow what I see. Instead, I see this path to find the Archived W-2s for 2020: Taxes > Payroll Tax > Filings > Archived Forms and Filings > W-2, Copies A & D. Why is there such a difference in how to get to W-2s?
Hi lbgiles0218!
QuickBooks Online has different payroll plans. Each plan has different features, user interfaces, and ways on how to generate the forms. It's great that you were able to find it. You can also check the updated and detailed steps here: Print your W-2 forms.
If you have more questions about W-2, you can check this link: Get answers to your W-2 questions.

Thank you for the reply; however, I should have been more specific with my question. Why are there two different approaches for the same product: Payroll Premium?
Thanks for the reply, lbgiles0218.
I understand that there may be differences with the steps shared on this thread.
QuickBooks Online has a new user interface to make it more user-friendly. Some changes may not reflect automatically to some users which is why what you've seen and the steps on the first response aren't the same.
