Buy nowIs there a single report (or an easy way) to see what QB is deducting from our checking account each week? I know there is a weekly deduction for the NET payroll and a TAX deduction.
I would like a single report that shows both the net amt and the tax amount deducted from our bank account. Currently i print the payroll summary for that week and circle the NET and then I add the employers taxes and the employees taxes to ge the total for the 2nd deduction.
I only use QB payroll so i do not export.
Thanks
Thanks for the complete details you provided regarding your query, LDO.
You can generate the Payroll Details report in your QuickBooks Payroll. This report not only displays the net payroll and tax deductions withdrawn from your bank account but also the hours, gross pay, other pay, and total payroll cost of your employee. Allow me to guide you to this report.

This thread remains open for additional QuickBooks reports inquiries you may have.
How do I print this report without employee detail? I do not want to see any names or individual dollar amounts.
Thanks
Please know the only QB programs I have is online payroll and time. I do not know what a standard page is?
1. Does this report have a total for both EE taxes and ER taxes? or do I have to add the two figures together?
2. Can I print the details report with any employee info. I do not want to see names or dollars.
3. Why is this report better than the employees summary report that I normally use?
Thanks for following up, @LDO.
You can filter the report to only show certain employees, but you can't remove the employee names altogether.
Here's what can be removed from the report:
In order to make more adjustments to the report, you can always export the report to Excel. From there, you can remove the info you do not need.

I'm happy to help you explore whichever report works best for you, and if you have any more questions or need further assistance, just let me know!
I only want the net amount and the total taxes. Just the totals of what QB is taking from our bank account. Rather than make the effort to export it and modify I will just add it up by hand. I just thought for sure that QB would have a succinct report that said "here are the two amounts we are debiting your bank account for"
Thanks
