You can access the Archived Forms menu to find the W3, dertservices. I’ll outline the steps so you can monitor the forms you’ve submitted in QuickBooks.
If you have e-filed your previous W2, W3, and 941 forms or QuickBooks filed for you, it can be downloaded and printed on the Archived Forms page. Please know that the form is only for an employer copy and not official for submission.
Here's how:
- Go to Taxes in QuickBooks Online (QBO), then Payroll tax.
- Select Filings.
- Choose Resources. Then, Archived forms and filings.
- Pick the date range, or search for the forms you need.
- Click View on the W-2, W-3, and 941 forms you want to print.
- Click on the print icon on the Reader toolbar. Then, select Print again.
If you have filed them manually, you can find them on the same page. However, this depends on whether you have first archived them from the Filings tab. If you haven't archived them yet, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Archive the form
- Go to Taxes, then Payroll Tax.
- Select the Filings tab.
- Next to the tax form you want to save or archive, click on File.
- Choose the period, then Archive.
Step 2: View the form
- Go to Taxes, then Payroll Tax.
- Pick the Filings tab once more.
- Click Resources, then Archived forms and filings.
- Select the drop-down menu to filter the form type you want to view.
- Choose the form name, then View.
