I'd be happy to help you with that, @scohen.
You can find the YTD information by pulling up a report in QuickBooks Online (QBO). It offers a flexible display of Payroll Reports for any customization you can imagine. I'd suggest checking out the Payroll Details report for showing YTD on wages for a specific pay period. The steps below will help you achieve this.
Here's how to run the Payroll Details Report:
You can refer to this video article on Payroll Reporting for more details. It covers most of the information needed in running payroll reports.

We've just entered YTD payroll Deductions and Contributions for 36 employees and want to verify against the previous payroll system totals. None of the Employee Detail, or Payroll Summary by Employee reports appears to be able to report these entered balances. Is there a way to report this data for comparison?
I know a way on how you can compare the data, CWeinberger.
We can run the Payroll Deductions/Contributions report and then export it to an Excel file. Let me guide you how:
Then, do the same steps but, this time filter the dates to the recent one.
Afterwards, you're good to compare your employee's previous and recent deductions and contributions.
I've also added this article if you want to edit taxes: Deductions and contributions.

Hi
I cannot see a report with the title Payroll Deductions/Contributions.
I've searched and searched there is nothing showing. Please can you provide more details? Thanks
Regards
Mary
Hi
When I click on the Payroll Details report (Gross To Net) I only get the option to print a monthly report.
I need one that shows the full year.
I don't understand why there isn't a standard report showing full YTD figures that I can download in csv. Even the P32 will only download in PDF. I'm wasting so much time with this! This is basic stuff and shouldn't be this difficult.
If you can advise how I can get a full YTD report that would be appreciated.
Regards
Mary

If you have any other questions about getting the YTD payroll report, let me know by adding a comment below. I'm always here to help. Keep safe!
I was able to find all of this under Payroll Summary by employee. There was a note under Payroll Details directing me there. I was specifically looking for YTD info and found this exactly what I needed.
That will only give you a cumulative total of all employees, not individual totals.
BTW: Am I the only QBO user that hates QBO? Why didn't Intuit just convert QB Desktop to Online?
I love QBD! QBO is a POS! Somebody had to say it.
